Alexandre Fernandes
Alexandre graduated in Physiotherapy from Universidade de Aveiro and went on to become certified in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy through Manual Concepts and Curtin University, Australia.
He founded Phixu with a clear vision: to bring elite, individualised physiotherapy directly to clients — at home, at their hotel, or at their club.
He specialises in musculoskeletal and sports conditions and currently oversees operations across the Algarve and Lisbon.

Physiotherapist & Osteopath
David Freire
David holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from the Higher School of Health of the Portuguese Red Cross and a Master's degree in Osteopathy from the Madrid School of Osteopathy (5 years).
He has a background in geriatrics and neurology, and spent 4 years as physiotherapist for handball and basketball teams — including Portugal's senior national team.
He specialises in sports rehabilitation through exercise and manual therapy, and enjoys padel in his spare time.

Joana Tiago
Joana graduated in 2015 from Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa and completed a 5-year Osteopathy programme at the Madrid School of Osteopathy.
She holds postgraduate qualifications in Respiratory Physiotherapy (2023) and Manual Lymphatic Drainage — Leduc Method (2021).
Her experience spans private clinics, football and basketball clubs, and hospital settings, with a focus on acute injury management and integrative care.

Daniel Oliveira
Daniel holds degrees in Sports Science from the University of Évora and Physiotherapy from the School of Health of Setúbal, complemented by a Minor in Physiotherapy & Sports at Hanze School in Groningen.
He served as physiotherapist for Sporting Clube Farense (2021–2022) and has experience across private hospitals.
He specialises in sports conditions, rehabilitation exercises, and musculoskeletal treatment.

Luís Dinis
Luís graduated in 2022 from Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa and holds degrees in Physical Education and Sports Sciences (2017) and a Postgraduate in Strength and Conditioning (2022).
He specialises in sports rehabilitation and orthopaedic physiotherapy, with particular expertise in shoulder and spinal pathologies.
He combines clinical physiotherapy with customised exercise programming.

Pedro Silva
Pedro graduated in 2024 from Faculdade da Cruz Vermelha de Lisboa and holds postgraduate qualifications in Sports Rehabilitation, Electroacupuncture, Dry Needling, and Ergonomics.
He completed an internship in Finland and has experience in elderly care and work-related injury treatment.
He has supported senior sports teams and worked at Fisiogaspar.
